Privacy policy
- Discord User ID — A unique numeric identifier used to link your in-bot account to your Discord profile.
- Discord Username — Your current display name, stored for identification in logs and leaderboards.
- Game Data — Virtual currency balances, bank balances, animal collections, team compositions, weapon inventories, battle statistics, win streaks, clan membership, quest progress, and other gameplay-related data.
- User-Generated Text — Content you voluntarily submit through the Bot's features, such as profile bios, clan names, Dating Zone profiles, and Confession messages.
- Marketplace Listings — Your active buy/sell orders and auction bids, stored until the listing closes, expires, or is cancelled.
- Transaction Records — Logs of coin transfers including sender ID, receiver ID, amounts, and timestamps. Retained for moderation and fraud prevention.
- Guild ID — The Discord server ID where you most recently used the Bot.

In addition to message content (described in Section 2), the Bot uses two other Discord Privileged Intents. Here is exactly how each is handled:
- Used to resolve member objects for commands that display or interact with another user — profile cards, leaderboards, roleplay commands (hug, kiss, marry, ship, pat, etc.), clan roster lookups, and the Streak Pet partner system.
- Used to verify that a target user is still present in the server before executing commands against them (for example, battle challenges, coin transfers, marriage proposals, and gift sends), preventing invalid or wasted actions.
- Used to process member join and leave events for features such as server welcome messages and keeping clan rosters accurate when a member leaves the server.
- Member data is held in memory only for the duration of a command. We do not persist usernames, roles, join dates, or avatars to our database beyond the fields already listed in Section 1.1.
- Used to display online status (online / idle / do-not-disturb / offline) and current activity (playing, listening, streaming, custom status) on profile cards via the /userinfo and /profile commands.
- Used to validate that Streak Pet partners are genuinely present (not offline or invisible) when co-located in a voice channel, for streak qualification purposes.
- Presence data is read from Discord's in-memory cache at the moment a command runs. Presence data is never stored in our database.
UwU Bot accesses message content through the Discord Message Content Intent solely for detecting command prefixes and parsing arguments. Here is exactly how message content is processed:
- 1When a message is sent, the Bot checks whether it begins with its command prefix (e.g., "U").
- 2If the message does not start with the prefix, it is immediately ignored. No content is read, processed, or stored.
- 3If the message starts with the prefix, the Bot extracts the command name and any arguments in memory only.
- 4The extracted command is executed. The raw message content is immediately discarded and never written to any database, file, or external service.
- Message content is never stored in any database or log file.
- Message content is never transmitted to any external server or third party.
- Message content is never used for analytics, profiling, advertising, or machine learning.
- Processing occurs entirely in volatile memory (RAM) and is discarded after command execution.
- Users can use slash commands (e.g., /daily, /battle, /hunt) as an alternative that does not require reading message content.
- Providing Bot Services — To maintain your in-game account, track virtual currency, manage animal teams, process battles, and deliver gameplay features.
- Moderation and Security — To detect and prevent cheating, automated abuse, exploits, and fraudulent transactions.
- Service Improvement — To monitor Bot performance, identify bugs, and improve user experience.
- Compliance — To comply with Discord's Terms of Service, API usage policies, and applicable laws.

- ❌Profiling or behavioral tracking beyond Bot gameplay
Your game data is stored in a secure MongoDB database with the following protections:
- Encrypted connections (TLS/SSL) between the Bot and the database.
- Access restricted to authorized personnel only.
- Regular monitoring for unauthorized access attempts.
- Data is associated only with your Discord User ID — no personal identifying information beyond your username is stored.
While we implement industry-standard security measures, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute protection against all potential threats.
- Active accounts: Data is retained indefinitely while you continue to use the Bot.
- Inactive accounts: Data may be retained to allow users to return to their account at any time.
- Deletion requests: Upon receiving a valid request, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
- Transaction logs: May be retained for up to 90 days for fraud prevention purposes, even after account deletion.
- Right to Access — You may request a copy of the data we store about you.
- Right to Deletion — You may request permanent deletion of all your data from our systems.
- Right to Opt-Out — You may stop using the Bot at any time. Removing the Bot from your server will stop all data collection for that server.
- Right to Correction — If you believe any data we hold about you is incorrect, you may request a correction.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us through the CG x UwU Discord server or by email (see Section 10).
In accordance with Discord's Terms of Service, the Bot is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will promptly delete that information.
The Bot may rely on the following third-party services for its operation:
- Discord API — Required for all Bot functionality. Subject to Discord's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- MongoDB Atlas — Cloud database service used for data storage. Subject to MongoDB's privacy and security policies.
- Hosting Provider — The server infrastructure that runs the Bot.
These third-party services only receive the minimum data necessary for the Bot to function. We do not share your data with any third party for advertising, analytics, or commercial purposes.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We may also announce significant changes in the CG x UwU Discord server. Your continued use of the Bot after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
